My name is Jeff Langan. I am a Connecticut native living in Chicagoland. I've been lucky enough to live in a couple different states, with Colorado being my favoirte.
Ever since I was a kid, I have wanted to be a photojournalist. Since I was a little kid, I wanted to be that camera guy standing in the middle of a hurricane or blizzard with a camera. I’ve always had a visual eye for storytelling, looking for creative angles and ways to illustrate an image.
I have mainly been living in the TV news world for the last six years. I started out as a content producer, before making the switch to photojournalist. I like the challenge of taking a story, and trying to come up with creative ways to tell it. I won an Emmy award in 2016, for my work in a special on Colorado’s Craziest Restaurants. I shot a story on a restaurant that was inside of an old bank vault!
Movies are me are an escape from reality. I love going to the theater and turning off my phone to enjoy what’s on the screen. I’m also an avid series watcher, and am always looking for new suggestions of shows that I can watch!
Currently, I’m looking into expanding into the still photography world. It’s similar to what I do on a daily basis, but it’s also completely different. I’m looking forward to sharing my pictures with you. Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any photo or video needs!
